Voltes V and MAzinger Z -robot toys where what I wanted when I was a kid but my parents where too
poor or where trying to teach me practicality never bought me one.

I did have one of those Evil Kenievel motorcycle set with the Van with a ramp behind it.

Oh those were the days...

I had an Evil Knievel one, too!!😀

The Evil Knievel stuff was awesome!! 🙂 I had a couple motorcycles, one had red turbojet engines on either side that would shoot sparks when you revved them up. And I had the Snake Canyon set where you could crash Evil through a bunch of boulders. But by far the most fun part was revving that back tire up and threatening to burn my brother's skin off with it.

This might have been why my Evil Knieval suddenly vanished one day

I had the rocket bike as well....later in life I turned it into a real one by wedging a couple of Estes rocket engnes, C class I think, into it and sent Evil on a real stunt mission.

Tinkertoys
Pop-oids
Pogoballs (Pogo Ball)
Crossfire!! (this can only be said with the same intensity as the cheesy 80's commercial that featured it)

How about the original "Creepy Crawlers". Can you imagine the lawsuits today?
That little griddle they gave you to cure the plastic got HOT! We used to put marbles on it, heat, then drop them in water and watch them fracture into pieces!

And how about the Star Trek guns that shot the little flying discs. Great for knocking out the original Xmas lights we used back then!

Dart Guns, Cap Guns.

Gumby and Pokie....

Control Line Airplanes from Cox, with the .049 engines! Cool!

Estes and Centauri rockets....

AFX/G-Force Slot Cars!

Lawn Darts!

Toys were much more fun before lawyers got involved....I almost feel sorry for kids these days....they don't have toys with nearly the destructive power as the ones that I had growing up in the 1970's.

Yeah those tracer guns were another great toy I used to abuse my brother with 🙂 I learned quick that if you move your arm forward fast as you're shooting you can get those discs to leave a pretty good mark.
