This is a great idea and all, but think about why this would be an even worse scenario...

It should be assumed that Captain Loser is lurking on this thread.
If Zyso changes the password and 'locks' his roommate out, his roommate can just reset everything back the way it was.
But if his roommate thinks zyso thinks that everything is cool now, he can continue spying on him, but zyso will think he's secure.
I would just like to reiterate how much i hate this roommate guy.

If you pay for the cable tell him to fvck off, you don't log his internet sites. My room mate reads stuff I type over my shoulder, which p!sses me off, so I cut his LAN cable one day, took him 3 weeks of using AOL to realize what was up.

If you are going to college that gives you internet webpages you could always setup a proxy client(doesn't work all the time with encrypted pages). the program is called cgi-proxy.cgi and can be found at freshmeat or sourceforge cannot remember.

It will hinder internet experience. But prevent your roomate and its a little nicer then anonymizer.

Proxy like everyone here has mentioned.

1. Find the electrical fuse to the house & throw the switch to off when he is in the middle of a game.
2. Ping the crap out of his machine with large package.
3. Purchase your own ADSL/Cable line.

I bet his roommate is savvy enough to hard reset it again and restore the settings to his liking. If you pay half for the connection you have every right to demand he stops. If you're mooching off him, you're SOL.

I call shens too. I would slap my roommmate upside his head if he was going through logs to find out where I've been. And most of all I think ANYONE who wasn't a retard would ask him to stop going through his stuff and if he didn't stop either get their own connection or move out.
