Noscript - Extension for Firefox

I want to like this extension, but it causes more problems than it avoids. General usability of websites goes way down when noscript is enabled, for obvious reasons. I want to find a middle ground, where I don't get too many annoying ads I can't block, and I can browse websites without running into things that noscript disables which I need to access. Maybe there's a different extension better suited for that? Adblock plus definitely comes in handy but can't block most flash ads.

All I do is just click the No-Script button (lower right corner with an S icon in my browser) and allow scripts on whatever page I want (ie anandtech.com). You can have it be permanent or temporary as well. It reloads the page and should display correctly.

I use Adblock Plus and Flashblock.

Flashblock is a great extension. It replaces each instance of flash on the page with its own play button. Clicking the a play button will allow that instance of flash to play.

You can add sites to your safe list so that you don't need to keep clicking play on valid flash sites.

Yes, use ABP for blocking ads and noscript for site safety. I agree it can be annoying, but NoScript is worth it with all the XSS scripts it has stopped and other things.
