Are these prices for real? Has anyone bought from these people before? These prices seem pretty good.

Good find, has anyone dealt with this company before? $10 isn't too bad for this. :)

I purchased a couple of copies (they are actually the OEM version) from these guys after I saw the original thread post. It took a couple weeks for shipping but you can't complain with a price like this!

I would buy from them again. $10 is a screaming deal for this software. If you're lucky you might find a retail box for the non-professional version for $20 after MIR and upgrade MIR. Who would mess around with rebates when you can just buy it outright for $10 (plus shipping).

If you choose USPS shipping it's $1.99. Excellent deal. My trial copy of Antivirus expires in august so I hope the Post office isn't too slow. :)

Tanner,
I don't want to get into a pissing match here but I love systemworks. Why do you hate it?
I leave only AnitVirus running but I use the win doctor, disk doctor and disk defragmenter often.
I got in on this deal when it was posted before and upgraded from my previous version of System works, which I like also.

my 2 cents,
Mosh

I got the systemworks 2k2 and pc anywhere 10 for like $22 shipped a few months back.. I had a little concern that they printed full credit card/address/phone number info on the receipt.. but other than that, the shipping was quick.. if you're not worried about this, they're great otherwise.

I bought 3 copies a while back and had no problems. It's funny, I was just looking around their site this morning looking for deals.

There is an extemely nasty w32.klez. worm viruses going nuts right now. I got it two different times in Hotmail which I was reading through Outlook Express. You don't even need to open the attachment, just highlighting the e-mail, even to delete it, activates the virus! Norton AV caught it but could not delete the virus because it got in memory that damn fast. I had to do a cold reboot and dump all the files in my Temporary Internet directory. Norton AV is the best. I got one of these Systemworks disks and got a one year virus subscription. My brother got the same disk from the same company and only got the 90 day virus subscription.

SimMike2 did you or you brother have existing NAV? Did you or he delete the existing NAV before installling the NSW2k2? I ordered NSW2K2 from east outlet and got the disk last week. My 90 day NAV oem on my new Gateway expires on 5/26. I intend to uninstall the 90 day oem and hope that when I install Systemworks 2002 that I get the full 1 year subscription. I think that it I install right over it, that I may only get a 90 day job.

Folks, EastOutlet is legit. I ordered Norton Systemworks Pro 2002 for $7.99, and PCAnywhere 10.5 for $9.99, from them, and both are complete, unabridged versions.

I did have a 90 day version which the Systemworks install told me to delete before proceeding. When I did this and installed Systemworks, I had a full year virus subsription. I think there are different OEM versions of Systemworks, so your mileage may vary. I think the only way to install this is to uninstall the previous version.

I have also heard that uninstalling and reinstalling the 90 day version gives you a new 90 subscription.

I have found this to also be true when you reinstall the one year w/Systemworks Pro.

I've been using "Ghost" for 7 years now, long before Symantec bought it.
Ghost is easily a $100 program. Clone your whole hard drive and save it as a single file for backup.

Ps-they arrived within 4 days of order

Eastoutlet is a good retailer but their prices change pretty quickly some times. I've seen this same SW 2002 Pro one time for $7.99 then a couple of days later it's listed for $21.
Grab em whem you can! :D

deejayshakur I have read lot's of reviews about System Works and Anti-Virus 2002 being great for Win XP comps but not too good for other OS's. Lots of errors and even erased data in some cases. I use one of the original versions of System Works and like it all but the Crash Guard, which seemed to cause crashes, not prevent them. They no longer support this version though, so I need something else.
So great for XP, not so great for others.

Don't crap people, be nice and contribute or go elsewhere.
