Yeah much faster (I watched it defrag my 6 gig drive once), plus its more customizable; you can place certain folders at the "start" of the drive etc...
Here's an example. I recently defragmented my 27Gig which was 47% fragmented. I swear to you, it would take half a day with the Windows 98 Defragment program. It took 27 minutes with SpeedDisk
OK, that being said, why is it the #1 seller and has the highest user rating according to PC Mag.? I know of several local companies of at least 400 - 600 units that use nothing but DK 5.0 or 6.0 with no probs.! I have personally used it exclusively for nearly 3 years, I rarely have to do any "reinstalls" or get any corruption!
