I think I got one of those Outlook spreading viruses - which antivirus should i get? I know there's a software section here but no one ever posts there.

Thanks guys!

Other suggestions are cool too.. I've heard of AVG but don't know much about it.

Thanks guys - I'm giving AVG a try... If it doesn't get rid of whatever I have then I'll get Norton.

Thanks again!

whatever you do, dont' get mcafee, it sucks IMO.

norton is great if you have a good computer (it is a BIT of a resource hog!). i run NAV2004, works 100% ok for me.

Why go to the store when you can easily download Norton and then purchase it online... unless you have a fantastic deal with rebates or something.

I just went through a long vendor test of all the major products, and chose McAfee.. It will ALWAYS get my vote, not sure why you guys don't like it. It out performed everything in our lab.

For once, I agree with you.

Forget Mcaffee ... its badly written, also forget nortan, script kiddies code trojans to work around it along with other antivirus programs and use memory loopholes. If your going to buy an anti virus program at all ... at least take a look @ Norman http://www.norman.com or any AV that uses 'Sandboxing' if the anti virus you use, does not Sandbox - then you could already be infected evan with the latest updates. :);)
