I was thinking about its saying that it would turn off the firewall. I have just begun to understand what firewalls do, and I presume that if it takes over the duty it does the duty as well or better

What can that be? norton internet worm protection? It says it recommends to turn off Windows Firewall and use norton instead
Yeah, i was wondering the same thing....
I just receintly i install Norton AV 2005 and i was wondering the same question.
To use norton internet worm protection and turn off Windows Firewall.
or
Vice-Versa??
Windows firewall is not very good, I would recommend using the norton AV worm protection one. (it also uses less CPU and memory).
In addition, if you have a home router, I would suggest using that one in addition to the norton AV, since it is hardware and much faster.
