Norton Ghost

The hard drive in my PC is dying. I'm hearing some clicking, getting boot disk failure message, etc. It does boot sometimes though, so is it possible to use say Norton Ghost to make an image of my current hard drive and then buy a new hard drive and load the old image? That way I don?t have to re-install everything. Or if there is a better program out there let me know. Thanks!

There is no program that is better than other since the problem lies with the dying HD. Ghost or True Image will allow you to make an image that you can restore to the new drive just as long as the drive will continue to operate properly.
