Ghost is the best program Norton makes. Ghost + USB external HD = excellent backup solution.

I can't remember which one Ghost 10.0 is.. but if that's their latest version, then no. I used to use... I believe Ghost 2003 then switched to 2006 and it was different... but not a good different. Things were just complicated in unnecessary ways.

I still use Norton Ghost 2003, along with the update that handles SATA drives. It's awesome! You can use it for cloning drives as well as backing up an entire drive or partition.

I use Ghost 12 and love it.
I install windows, install all the apps I use , drivers, etc , then ghost the drive to another drive.
If I ever want a clean windows install I can just restore the backup .

I do the same. I love ghost 2003. I use it to back up to SATA and USB external drives. I didnt do any SATA "update" with my boot disks. It seems to work fine with my SATA drives. To boot to a usb drive I you need the USB drivers, to boot to an SATA drive I just use a plain vanllia "no added drivers" ghost boot disk.

After you get your floppy go to go, I like to use Nero to burn it to a boot CD. Booting to the CD takes only a few seconds to load.

Sorry to OP, I realize that this doesnt regard ghost 10.
