i always use it. i keep my os partitions small and clean. after my first xp install with sp1 + updates +basic office appz i ghost imaged it. ~500mb. now if my windows gets hosed i just ghost back to that state, it saves hours! u can also make a ghost image of a fully decked out xp install then save it on cd or another partition..just inc ase u hose ur windows. very kewl when u need it! u know ur xp install eventually turns to cr@p, windows always does eventually.
turn off hibernation, or else u got a big ass file on os partition.
it helped when i installed sbc yahoo. i ghosted right b4 installed sbc's horrid software. got my login setup/info. ghosted back to pre sbc state and i'm using sbc without sbc cr@p installed
