Norton Ghost 2003

Hi All,

I posted a similar question about this a few days ago, but I wanted to ask a few more questions specific to Norton Ghost 2003.

First, it says it suppors various USB and Firewire drives, does anyone have any experience with these? I can't find a trial version anywhere, and it's a 64 dollar gamble if it doesn't.

Second, does it support RAID? Specifically Dell's PERC 3 Raid.... So in other words, booting from the rescue disks or whatever they call them, would it be able to see the RAID? Couldn't find an answer for this on the Symantec site either.

I'm really just hoping someone has some experience with this product. Thanks for any help in advance.

I can't say I have used Ghost in those enviroments you mentioned, but the good thing about Ghost is that it does come with a controller detector and sets up your boot disk/cd with the proper controller inf files. Works like a charm on Adaptec 29160's. Good luck.
