I find this strange. Surely the agreement would cover a set period and all copies of Ghost manufactured and despatched during this period would be valid?I called Samsung customer support about the the provided norton ghost license not working. There response was that the OEM agreement between Samsung and Symantec has expired. There response was to use there migration software or return the drive. What crummy customer support, since it is still advertised on there web site with the full version of norton ghost.
This appears to me as being misleading and dishonest -I will never buy another Samsung product
I did not get a copy of Ghost with the Samsung 830 I got from newegg.com. I emailed Samsung about it and the reply was that it only came with the SSD/Migration Kit package.
