norton disk doctor replacement

I am looking for a NTFS capable file repair program like Norton system doctor. Does anyone have a recommandation? I can use chkdsk but it's not too robust.

Save your money. CHKDSK is more than adequate.

Hey John, what's up man, saw your posts on my anti-viral thread. Ya I hate norton but chkdsk is bit annoy to use and don't handle cross linked files too well either. Just thinking if there's a open source stuff/something else so I don't need to install norton and its 400mb addons. Anyways I searched thru the net no results, Mac OS seem to have many alternative to nort disc doc tho.

you might want to try System Mechanic 5.0 It has EVERYTHING you need like defragment, registery cleaner, and many tweak for internet perfomance, start up booster, etc.
