Norton Anti Virus Corp. edition...

I've installed it before and it worked out fine, but i had to reinstall windows because of a Harddrive problem, so now the Norton Anti virus won't stay on "Real Time Protection"...

It'll always have the red circle around it, even though i right click and "Enable Real time protection" It'll always jump back to it....any reason why?

One possible explaination is that there is a virus infection preventing its real-time scanner from running. I can think of some others... does the condition persist after a reboot?

Here are some online antivirus scanners if you want to get extra opinions on the possibility of a virus:
Any reason to suspect your computer might have an infection? Unusual email you opened, new software or ???

edit: if your system was connected to the Internet without a firewall protecting it after you reinstalled Windows, then start with McAfee Stinger, because it goes after the common worms that a raw, unfirewalled WinXP or Win2000 installation can catch. You'll want to get a firewall going, then patch Windows, or the worms will come back at another opportunity.

D/C from the network, uninstall, and then reinstall after reboot

might have been a problem with install

Just out of curiosity, why do you have the corporate edition? that's a pretty expensive program you've got.

I've got it as well. I do work from home maybe twice a year so my company gave me a copy.

Nah, I just pirated mine 😛

Actually get mine from work too since I'm a mobile user who works from home occasionally.
