Northbridge Vcore @ 2.0 volts on a P35 board.

My vcore settings are all at stock / auto on my Gigabyte P35-DS3L. I have noticed in a few programs, "VCore2", or as I've been told, the NB VCore, is reading 2.00 volts. Does this sound a little high and should I throttle it back a little bit? Apparently, it's been running this way for a while with no problems, but I'd like to get away with a little less voltage in case I'm generating more heat than I need to.

auto northbridge (MCH) Vcore on my EP45-U3DP is 1.1V

I'm not sure why your voltage is at 2.00, but if it is actually at that amount, I think it's high. Are you sure you're not reading 2.00 volts as the memory voltage?

You know what? You're absolutely right. I saw VCore2 in Realtemp, and then did a search as to what it was reading, every answer I saw said it was the NB vcore. I'm looking at HWMonitor, and it has 2.00 volts displayed for my RAM. Strange. Thanks for the clarification 🙂
