Hitler and Stalin didn't start right off and murder millions. That's why we need to pay VERY careful attention to Obama so that we can stop him from continuing his path of following in their footsteps. That's the whole point, to learn from history so we don't repeat it.
No I don't see a problem with it at all. It's a very true and valid comparison. Obama hasn't gone full retard yet, but he's close.
As I said before, liberals thought it was perfectly fine to make the comparison with Bush. Well that's makes it fine and dandy to do with Obama, but even more so with obama because of his words, actions and deeds.
Every politician in power needs close scrutiny. But Stalin and Hitler are best known for murdering tens of millions of humans, not for their socialism.
A better comparison IMO would be to Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro, who also "fundamentally transformed" their nations but are not primarily known for their mass murdering. Granted that the same comparisons were made with Bush, but the intent of a new party should be to be taken seriously, not to get even. Comparing Obama to Stalin and Hitler is not the way to be taken seriously, even with detailed policy comparisons, and just looks asinine on a billboard (though it did make me chuckle.)
What amazes me is the number of (usually former) Obama supporters who did not understand that this man is a Marxist. Besides his "community organizing" activities and his books and his interviews, WTF did people think "fundamentally transform" meant? Letting the Bush tax cuts expire is hardly "fundamentally transforming" our nation.
