No. UNC? WTF. Best public schools are in CA. End of story.

Watch. NC can secede from the union, and we wouldn't give a FVCK.

I don't care about comparing schools. Actually, IIT, MIT, Harvard > all of CA

Anyway, we and our friends near us did try to secede but ya'll wanted us so bad that you wouldn't let us go 😛

In my experience, none of them know how to drive. I was stuck in the mountains on I-40 near Ashville for like 2 hours because the idiots could figure out how to merge down to 1 lane for construction in a timely manner. I thought a semi or camper had overturned, but no, it was just crappy crappy drivers.

Actually, I believe we in NC were the last state to join the Confederacy, and reluctantly at that. But that's mostly ancient history.

NC does rock.

And maybe CA has the most public schools, but I doubt the best. Anyway, that's all opinion, can't be measured in facts.

Yeah, see...we tried that one time.

Believe it or not, the Union did care.

That's why you get so many hurricanes there...give the place a good douching once in a while...Spent several months at Camp Lejune. Hot & humid in the summertime, too many dammed bugs to suit me for any length of time...Nice and green though. Pretty decent bunch of people overall...

It you like rubbing elbows with these guys

I actually don't see many mullets here.

The last one I did see though (a couple of months ago) was one of the finest examples of a mullet I have ever seen.

It was insane.

I used to live in Smithfield NC. I lived in the ghetto area. I do remember when Hurricane Fran hit Raleigh. Smithfield was affected by it. We had a huge pecan tree in our backyard. The hurricane took it out, and was probably a few inches from hitting my home.

Wasn't very fond of the area, but my dad had a job in the area.

Eh. Not really. Glad im leaving in a year

Don't you go to Duke?

Durham isn't exactly one of the best areas in NC.

yeah but I dont really like teh weather in general. I dont like the hot and humid in the summers. Plus i dont really care for the political climate nor the accent. I guess I'm not as laid back to appreciate life in the south. although I'll say Cary looks like a nice place to live

True. Even I don't like the weather much.

And in certain areas, it is becoming far more liberal than it used to be (I assume you are liberal).

Yeah. I think for me I would just much rather be in a large metropolitan city like New York, Boston or Seattle. I guess I'm a yankee at heart 🙂.
