Normal Temp for a Barton 2500

My system is real unstable. My cpu temp is 62 C. I am using the retail fan and the CPU is not overclocked.

Your HSF may not be properly seated. Also check and see if you have airflow problems.

depends on the mobo, and hsf

also, try running your system without the side on for a few hours, see if that will lower your temps

user is right, it may be airflow of hsf not seated correctly, are you using thermal paste?

Thanks for the help. You were right the HSF was not seated correctly. I put on a new layer of thermal paste. My CPU TEMP is now about 40 C.
