I went to the one last April and walked away with the best case award (600watt XG). TONS of prizes. Free RedBull handed out by hot chicks. It was a sweet time!!

Yeah, on a much smaller scale, Rutland is sprawled out and lit up at night like the real Vegas. Plus there are gangs there, too. Manchester Vermont is a very small town compared to its couterpart in NH. :)

Hmmm I just got my 9300 so I been interested in showing it off. I would play some RTS games if others wanted. My only reservation is I have only been to one other Lan party and it was only like 30 people and it was rather poorly orginized. How do the larger Lans usually go. Especially for someone like me who would be going alone.

I've never been to a LAN party but a building packed with 500 people all playing games seems a bit much for my tastes.

Im suprised to see so many vermonters here, im from montpelier, and go to Norwich University (we hold a 150 person or so LAN about 4 times a year). im going to try to make it to this one though, 500 is a big step up from 150

Nor'Easter Fall 2005 Cancelled
Posted 08-20-2005 by JKT7[LPANE]

The LPANE staff regrets to announce that our Nor'Easter Fall 2005 event scheduled for September 17th and 18th, 2005 in Wilmington, MA has been cancelled. We have taken a step back and have listened to the communities suggestions, and will try harder to make things happen as they should have at a later date. With the low registration numbers only weeks before the event, we can't afford to commit to renting our facility.

If you prepaid for the event, you will receive a full refund, either by Paypal or mail, depending on the method of your payment. We hope that everyone will continue to come to our future events, as we have plans for things to come. With the support of the community, the staff can put on the killer LAN party that we had hoped for. Stay tuned!

Sincerely,
The LPANE Staff

I'm in Essex Junction right now :)...we should organize a mini-ATOT LAN of our own or something. I've got spare switches and Cat5, all we'd need is a place to do it and a buttload of caffeine/beer?

LMK if something like this does happen, I'd travel up from southern Vermont, if I can.
