Did you even read that article? Their source for the "confirmation" is the nordic hardware article that was posted January 27. In fact, part of the vr zone article is taken word for word from nordic hardware.

You generally confirm rumors by getting new information, not referencing the old stuff.

The gtx 590 already seems to have been confirmed in the forceware log thingie.

In my opinion it's still unclear if it's going to be dual 580's, though.
