I went to all sorts of trouble to make sure I had all my ducks in a row on the rebates I was going to do today, must be postmarked by today. Photocopies of everything, etc. etc.

And what do I do? Forget to send them. :(

Self-pwnage.

Think I can get away with a one-day-late postmark? Do they check?

I just recently did the same thing... so I used usps.com and sent it Priority w/correct date (shows today's date until next day 1am EST I think), I'm waiting to see if it will work.

Worth a shot... click-n-ship does first class too, right?

$15.99 a month... crap.
That's not a bad idea of you don't want to use Priority (my rebate was $50 so it was worth it for me). You could use the 30day free trial and it wouldn't cost you the $15.99 then.

How does the No-Risk Trial work?
New customers are eligible for our 4 Week No-Risk Trial. Simply cancel before the trial period ends and you will not be charged. If you like the service, do nothing and your account continues automatically.

What do I get for trying the service?
Your Stamps.com account automatically starts with $5 free postage and a free Stamps.com Supplies Kit ($5 Value). After your trial period, you will receive additional postage coupons ($20 Value), plus a free Stamps.com digital scale ($50 Value) ? a total value worth $80!

15.99? i only pay 4.49, and have for the last 5 years. i dont think 4.49 is too much to have my own "post office" in my living room.

it may not be too late, try the post office at your nearest major airport. they open pretty late, much later than most POs. my friend used to send his college apps at like 7 pm the last day. maybe that's why he didn't get in...

I missed one by a day and they called me on it. Coincidentally that was when the second Florida hurricane came through so they wouldn't argue with me about that and approved it for special circumstances.
