Ok, this was the reason I got rid of Win2k and went back to win98. Now it has happened with WinXP. My Windows Task MAnager is all messed up. I opened it while watching a flash animation.

A picture will explain it clearly so take a look (problem solved, have limited bandwidth on my server)

As you can see, I no longer have any tabs, that is the only thing I can see. I can't go into performance, applications or anything else. The only way to close it is to go to my taskbar and right click on the green thing and close it. I have no idea why this happened and it won't go away now. This exact same damn thing happened with Win2k. Is there a way to fix this? I don't want to have to go back to win98 again.

The solution is simple. Double-click a blank area of the Task Manager window.
