VERY excited about the nook that I just ordered my wife (3g, $199) and am eager to download some library books onto it. Can anyone share the experience? For example, is there a limit to the amount of books you can check out at once? Is there a waiting list (only X amount of people can dowload a popular book, or all they can eat?)? Anything else worth noting?

My wife buys about a book a week and is a very fast reader and the local library's always out of popular physical books so she resorts to amazon - that's around $12 a week in books, many of which turn out to be stinkers. Even if she ends up buying 1/4 of the physical books based on quality (after reading it for free from the library), I have a feeling that the nook is going to save us a lot of money.

You can also read for free for a time in B&N stores.
