Noobish Crossfire Question

ok, i currently have just a plain old connect3d x800xl which i bought 2 months ago.

If I got a crossfire edition card, would i be able to use the x800xl as the slave card??? I know I would need a crossfire motherboard, as well as a crossfire master card, but would my x800xl work as the slave?

Yes, if they ever released an x800xl Crossfire card. Right now there seems to only be an X850 Crossfire card out currently.

You should be able to pair up any ATI card with a crossfire master card I think, but I think both cards will only run as fast as the slowest card
