Its obvious that many people answering this post are speaking out due to frustration and for the lack of knowledge that people have in relationship to computers. Its one thing to post and ask questions, which are simple and basic to some, versuses posts that are meant to antagonise and brew dissentment. This is bound to happened when you bring people together who have limited as well as inriched experiences within the subject matter. For some, their is a certain amount of satisfaction gained by knowing that they helped somewhat in regards to a specific topic. While others, cringe at the sight of another "NOOBIE" post. So be it. Dust your shoes and go on. I am hoping that this forum is meant for all people who are from all walks of life that yearn to share and learn in their experiences.

For what its worth, I joined this forum last spring. It has been a constant daily trip for me to ANAND. I have learned a wealth of information from the patrons as well as the people behind the scenes. It wasn't until about 2 months ago that I actively started posting. I know as I continue to grow in my "technological" journey I will post even more so.

For those of you who feel the need to abolish the "neewbie" phase of the interaction, be patient with us and offer guidance when you can. Remember, what is common knowledge for some, is a revelation to others.

thanks

didja ever consider that even though the topic is posted frequently that the answer changes relatively frequently as well? Even if you are somewhat of an enthusiast, you may not keep up to date with every new hardware release. Rather than read through 10 or 20 reviews and trying to make a decision, sometimes it's better to just ask the people you consider knowledgeable "what would you get if you had $150 to spend on a mobo today?" The answer to that question may be different in 2 months, 2 weeks, or even just 2 days.

A guide would be a great help though.
