well the AMD board obviously would not work for a pentium, is your video card AGP or PCIe, and what socket is your P4

hm nm i dont think they are compatible which is why i have this mobo in the first place. my cpu is flat and this one has little spikes =[

so AMD mobos dont work w/ P4 CPU's?

nope, completely different socket sets. as for your intel mobo your p4 could be a socket 775 or a socket 478, if it is a socket 775 the cpu is compatable, your ram will have to be DDR2 and you video card is PCIe you will not have to buy a new one, but my guess is that you might have to, because I do not believe they made a PCIe version of the 9800, your ram could be DDR2 but when did you buy it

Yep. I might be hard to find in a store, but they can probably order one for you.

He's saying his cpu is flat and not spiky. I'm guessing it's a socket 775. That would make buying a mb much easier. If you could post a picture top and bottom of your cpu, that would help us id it for you.
