nOOb ? Non Wireless To Wireless?

I am currently running a Linksys BEFSR81 and would like to add a wireless connection/access point. Is this possible? This router isn't very old and has worked like a champ so far, so, I don't want to go out and buy a different one if I don't have to. Although , I could find an old one lying around that I could connect to the ' 81 , but definitely have no clue how to do that. The other router would also be a different brand. Any ideas or possibilities? Pre-thanks from a networking nOOb!😉
