I just got this case

and this motherboard

It did not come with a manual (should've seen that one coming!) so I can't figure out where things go.

I have a 20+4 power connector. The mobo only supports the 20pin power supply. Am I supposed to plug in the 4 pin into the other power plug on the board? (I think it is the 12v slot). It is a p4 cpu.

Also, I can't figure out how to connect the audio from the case to the mobo. I have on board audio as well as an sb live digital card. Neither (that I can tell) have a place for a 10pin connector, only 4 pin. How can I connect the audio for my front panel?
TIA

Just use the 20 pin portion of the mb power connector. There is another, separate 12v plug from the psu to connect from the mb as well (NOT the extra 4 pin set from the mb power connector).

Usually the 10 pin case connector is for front USB, not the audio.

What does that 12v plug look like? I have a 6pin connector but that is for a pci express gpu right?

Usually the 10 pin case connector is for front USB, not the audio.

I have three chords from the front of the case. All are 10 pin connectors. They say USB (found where that goes), Audio, 1394 (I know this is firewire which my mobo does not have onboard for the front). The audio cable has bout two pins blocked in a random order that I don't know about so technically it is an 8 pin connector. I have an 8 pin connector for audio on the mobo but it has 2 jumpers on it already.

Just plug stuff in where it fits. They make these things relatively safe so if it doesn't fit then it isn't going to the right place. If it is a 20+4 power supply then it almost certianly has another 4 ping out that goes to a second power plug on your motherboard.

Well I've plugged everything in, got nothing. So I unplugged everything but the essentials (video card, 1 stick of ddr ram) Now I get one long beep when the video card is not plugged into the power supply and one short beep when it is. When the molex connector from the psu to the vid card is not in, my cpu fan and video card fan spin up. however, when the video card is plugged in, nothing spins up. The ram is brand new corsair from new egg, mobo is new.
