OK, I just purchased a laptop from lenovo canada's website but I forgot to add a spare coupon I had.

I paid with Visa.

Can I buy it again but this time with the coupon?

1) Can I cancel it through Lenovo and get a refund on my Visa?

2) If Lenovo refuses to cancel the order, can my Visa company cancel it for me?

Why not just call Lenovo and tell them you have a coupon and forgot to use it?

One time I tried to cancel a payment on my AmEx and they said it could not be done. I had to wait for it to be applied, and then they were able to remove it.

Just purchased as in within 2 hours? Chances are your laptop hasn't shipped yet.

If the coupon is that important, order again using your MasterCard and the coupon.

There is a good chance the laptop hasn't shipped yet if you just ordered it.

But I am wondering if I can cancel the first one successfully. I dont wanna be stuck with 2.

Anyone have experience cancelling with Lenovo?

if you didn't order it through fatwallet, you can call and probably have the coupon applied to the order

I've ordered from Lenovo.com but didn't cancel my order. My laptop shipped from Taiwain but took 10 days to ship. I could have easily cancelled my order within a week of ordering it.

Assuming the coupon doesn't expire tonight (which it can then you = fail), just wait until tomorrow morning. Call Lenovo customer service and say "Bobs Your Uncle, I'd like to cancel my order" once you have confirmation it's cancelled then order using your MasterCard.

Are you willing to risk the coupon being cancelled? I wouldn't.

I'll add that, regarding (2), doing a chargeback so you can nail them on a pricing mistake would kind of be a dick move.

That should always be a last resort. Even if he purshed a chargeback, it technically would be fraud since he admitted he forgot to redeem the coupon code:

Call them up and explain the situation to them and if they say they cant do anything about it thne be like I need to cancel my order. Really that simple I do shit like this with work all the time.
