Noob BF2:SF questions...

1) I already have an acount with 2 unlocks. However, I didn't get an option to unlock more weapons when I opened up the sf client. How do you unlock more weapons in SF?

2) When I booted up SF and looked for MP maps, I only saw SF maps and not original BF maps, however I have played BF2 enough to know that expansion players can play with people that have not bought the expansion. I didnt' get a chance to look, but how do I join bf maps from the SF cliant?

3) I already have the 1.41 patch for bf2 installed (which took like 20 minutes). Do I have to install it again for SF, and if I do, how do I select which version I want to update?

Ok, so I took Bobs advice from ATOT (rank up, then unlock the new weapons) and I did that. I got all the way to 2500 Global Points and got my new unlock. Only problem is, it didn't give me the option to unlock any of the new weapons that I paid fscking money for. I opened up the SF client to see if it would let me open up new weapons in there, still no fscking luck.

So I tried to load a map and see WTF is going on, and I get a crash to desktop. I'm so almost ready to kick this thing, but I am going to try again. I load it up, and try to join another server...and another crash to desktop.

Fsck this bullsh!t. I paid $20 for this d@mn game and those lazy b!tches at EA can't get off their lazy azzez and fix their fscking game?

Does anyone know how to fix this? I mean, it's a big problem, with SF not even loading maps without crashing. Aaaah god d2mn it, I'm so pissed right now I can't think. I'll try to fix this post in the morning once I have some sleep.
