HAHA! My computer just went ballistic. It was slowing down so I checked how much RAM was free, and I see 6% !! Haha

Then as I try to change the song in winamp my computer goes haywire. Luckily I was able to save all the stuff I was working on... I think i need more RAM now 🙂

restart fixes all! Or maybe even turning it off to totally clear out the RAM... btw, how much do you have in the first place?

hehe. I routinely hit the memory wall on this system. I need mroe memory. 1 gig here I come!

Thank god memory is cheap now! Woot!

With 384MB you're running out of RAM in Win2K? Before spending the cash on more memory, I'd do some detective work and see just what's eating up resources, as it's possible that some program has a memory leak. I had this happen with a Winamp plugin once.

None RAM, hu? I routinely run with < 10% free, the rest just gets put into a swap file. I have 512. It slows me down a bit, but not too much.

I have 512 on mine and sometimes hit a wall but only when I'm doing all sorts of stuff at one. Usually Photochop/WMP/IE/Outlook etc with a big image opened up.

I'm running win2k. But thanks anyways a$$hole.

Think I'ma get a stick of 512 and then replace my stick of 128 with it. That should be good!
