Can you have just a plain Notebook with stylus features? I don't really care about the rotating screens although that is very cool. Or are there Tablet PCs that have compatible performance with leading Notebooks ie. 2.8 gightz, 512 mb mem, 64 mb or 128 mb vid card? cause I've only seen Tablet PCs that have 1.3 gightz max. I want a Notebook which I can type up notes for class but that I can also add illustrations to go with the notes. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

what is the difference between the Pentium M and Pentium 4 M and just the regular Pentium? (Performance wise) what makes them different? lower voltage consumption longer batt life? I assume the M stands for mobile. Why such a difference in mhz but same performance?

Thanks

Another option is to check out OneNote. You can download an evaluation copy. OneNote lets you type up your notes in any fashion and then use the mouse to draw lines of various widths and colors etc. You can highlight, synchronize audio notes, bullet, paste in .html, etc. This might be a good option if you want to steer more towards a "regular" laptop

Well the Pentium-M is the newest Mobile CPU. It has 2MB of L2 cache. The Pentium-M does more Insturctions per Clock than a Pentium-4M, thats why we can see the same proformance when the clock speed is do different. Now the Pentium is a very old cpu and has nothing to do with the Pentium-M.
