I have been in the new market for new contacts and came across these, how much do they usually cost and do they actually work for people who have them

Links are good.

From the little I've seen, yes, they do work to an extent. However how well they work will vary between people. It's only a temporary adjustment, you could get halfway through the day and discover that you can't see well and have to put on your glasses or put the lenses in (it's nice that you CAN just stick them back in during the day).

I've encountered the same phenomenon when sleeping sometimes. Pressure on my eyes while I nap, wake up and can't see for 10 minutes because my eyes are out of shape.

I might consider this, I need to get my eyes checked and get new glasses. I hate wearing glasses, already thinking about laser surgery but was also thinking a lot about the implanted rings that reshape the lens.

Yea, I thought there would some problems with them but overall I might go with them. I just hope there not going to be too pricey. I also was thinking about the 30day lenses where you don't take them out for a month.

My sister uses these, you have to get used to them. At first your eyesight might not last through the day, but your eyes will adjust and the correction will last more than a day. However, I'm not sure if they can provide any permanent benefits.

The FAQ points out that it's not permanent. It's just squishing your cornea which takes time to change back to normal shape. Like a TempurPedic mattres.
