non name brand gas?

my empty light came on last night and i stopped into a station that had gas for 2.25/gallon so i pumped

any reason not to buy non name brand gas?

hmmm, well the only "non name" brand gas that i LOVE is sheets. if you ask anyone from ohio, pa, virginia, we all know what it is, and their prices are like god sends. but to anyone else, no one knows what they are. They are doin something right, as they have like 20 pumps at every station, and you can order food from the pump, and all kinds of crazy shizzle.

I don't know how true this is but I had a teacher told us that non-name brand gas is worse than name brand gas. He said the non-name brand companies buy from name brand companies and then add some extra additives to the gas to "water it down". He went on to say that because it's been "water down" you don't get as good gas mileage and it doesn't burn as clean as name brand gas so you get more build up in your engine.

Like I said I don't know if this is true or not.
