that usually means that there is more to it than just the word, read the inference.

I don't know if this is true, but I've read that lemmings don't actually jump off of cliffs and stuff, and that they whole myth got started when some Disney people filming a documentary in the 50s basically terrified them into running off a cliff when they kept trying to get closer for more footage. Since the lemmings were dead, they couldn't get any more footage of them, so they made up the myth about them jumping off cliffs so the viewers would think they had captured some beautiful moment in nature, because they're evil bastards.
