Anyone know when this toy is coming out? It was talked about at the CES in January and was slated for release in the "spring". There isn't anything on Creative's site about it except a little ad.
 
I think last that I heard on the grapevine it will be released this fall for a holiday sell through... could be wrong though. I got tired of waiting for one to come out (if nothing else than for some user evaluations) and I bought a Rio Riot. Although the Riot has suck-ass USB 1.1 transfer speeds, it's got a great interface and fantastic battery time.
 
Hey does anyone know if this new Nomad 3 *Requires* a "SB1394" port? Like the one's on their latest sound cards? Or can you just use any plain old Firewire card. I sure hope you can.

USB or SB1394 port (found on Sound Blaster® Audigy? series of audio cards)
