Nokia has had a high megapixel camera for a long time, the 41-megapixel 808 PureView. The big difference is that it was Symbian, because Windows couldn't support the 41 megapixel camera.

We know what's coming with Nokia, because their hardware is being held back by their inferior OS. Nokias not really in a position to criticise anyone else's forward thinking really, but at least they are making an effort I suppose.
