Nokia is good at making unique looking phones, but their phones are a far cry from being thin and light.
The Lumia 925 is pretty thin and light.
Hold a Lumia 925, an HTC One, and a Samsung GS4. The Lumia really isn't thin and light at all. Its solidly built and feels strong, but thin and light it is not.
The HTC One weighs 143g. The Lumia 925 weighs 139g.
The HTC One is 9.3mm thick. The Lumia 925 is 8.5mm thick.

im not sure what took them and apple so long to realize people want bigger phones. i have always been impressed with Nokia's build quality but cant stand the puny screen compared to Samsung.
cant wait to see what Nokia has to offer this time!
Metro UI is pretty and modern looking at first glance but in practice it is inconvenient and disorienting. I tried Metro UI skin on my N4 for a while and initially liked the look but couldn't get used to it.
Not sure whether a big screen is going to be a mitigating factor or a aggravating one.

Given Nokia's excessive bezels on some of their other Lumia flagships this could end up being more of a competitor for the Nexus 7 LTE than the Note 3
