Maybe I'm reading something wrong, but it doesn't look like that rebate is any good for that headset:

That's the 212, not the 102!

I got one of these to use for listening to podcasts on my laptop. I don't know how it would do with a phone and I wouldn't recommend it for music but it's fine for my purposes. I don't know how anyone could use it without the loophole though.
