was wondering if they made this device but for 3.5 mount instead of 5.25? or some type of similar device?


For those that don't know: it's a product that dampens the vibration/sound from your HD, it mounts on a tray and goes into the 5.25 bay.

 
no one makes any thing of this sort? demmit! I dig the ultra noise dampening , but not @ the expensive of a 5.25" ! :-(
 
you could just put it on the bottom of your case if you don't have a 5.25 bay to put it in... down by the front intake fan... just tape it to the bottom of the case hehe

Or you could drill holes and screw it down somehow... or you could figure out something if you really wanted to...

www.onlinemetals.com you can buy the 2 pieces of metal there... a aluminum 5.5" x 8" x 3/8" plate costs 21.56$.. you'd need two :/ kinda expensive... you could get tinner aluminum too. A 5.5x8x1/4" (2/3 as think) piece costs $13.20

I havn't seen any hd cooler/quiet that goes in a 3.5 bay.
