Get your money back ASAP before it is gone for good.

Contact PayPal directly. Forget e-mail. Call them and ask for one of their fraud investigators.

If you got any e-mails from the company, print them out, save them, make sure you have the header information. PayPal can use that to show fraud.

Do not take this lying down or your money will be gone for good!

I sent yahoo an email about nodandoon and this was their PROMPT reply (same day)

Thanks for your email to Yahoo! Shopping Support.

Unfortunately, because of the large number of complaints this merchant
has been receiving, we have closed their on-line store. If the merchant
has charged your credit card, please contact your credit card agency
directly and promptly to resolve this matter. Your credit card agency
should be able to provide you with the proper merchant contacts to
resolve any unauthorized charges made on your credit card.

You can try contacting this merchant via email at:

dan@nodandoon.con

Thank you for your understanding.

What about the 'office' in California? If these guys are really based out of Virginia then it makes little sense to pay for a temp office in Cali. So far I have seen ~5 different names attached to nodandoon.

I am not involved in this 'deal' at all so I won't be losing money but I just want to make sure you guys don't drop it. Whomever thinks that bombarding them with email will somehow substitute for actually going to the office and demanding information or actually calling the individuals in person, is sorely mistaken.

You could bombard my ass with emails all day about vague threats of bodily harm, all that would do is leave threats of violence which you can be held liable for since you so nicely include it in an email.

Anyways, what I am saying is that we computer-saavy people get lost in the passive aggressiveness afforded by a few strongly worded emails when that does jack dick compared to a phonecall or showing up in person. One of the essential aspects of a scam is knowing that 90% of the people scammed will get tired and quit.

good luck all

I'm a newbie on this forum, but I am an experienced e-tailer. If you paid these numbskulls with credit cards, even if it's through PayPal, all you have to do is call your credit card company and dispute the charge. Make sure you tell them it was an online purchase. The processing merchants are so afraid of the internet they will instantly chargeback the order before they even notify the merchant. American Express actually guarantees they will do this. Hope this helps.

Yo.. I got my refund!!!!

after calling Paypal.com directly,
emailing yahoo, AND emailing apeal@paypal.com.
My (our) efforts have finally paid off. hahaha..

i was a little greedy, i ordered 5 cards from that
dude.

So all you ppl out there still waiting for a refund, or
even crazier, waiting for those cards, keep your heat up, and you'll get your money (or cards.. hahahaha.. ) back.

The following is posted at nodandoon's site

NODANOON Computer Wholesale online

Our online order system has been hit with a surge of orders.

We are temporally suspending online operations to enable us to react to the thousands of orders received.

Please check back later once we have caught up with our orders.

Thank you

TEMPORALLY??? WTF sounds like the name of a p0rn movie.

A word of advice. Disputing it with your credit card will cause your credit card company to do a chargeback to your paypal account. That will result in a restriction on your account and you can't touch your paypal account until everything is settled. I learned the hard way and it took over a month to get my account unrestricted again.

good lord..after hearing all these scam stories it feels good that i am not alone...i got scammed on e bay (well almost...) and my bank refused to give me a chargeback since i used my Visa check card on paypal which is actually money not "credit". however i kept badgering this guy about not pulling any bullspit on me or i'd contact his local authories (his info was on e bay)

its a good thing that you guys have so many people that are in on this, when i was being conned I got lucky and was able to get in contact with another person who was scammed out of his $230 for a Voodoo 5 just days prior (when using e bay, e-mailing past customers is a good way of finding info about these jerk-offs)

but anyways..don't let up at these yahoos...you gotta keep at these guys. I hope you guys get your cards or these guys get sent to jail for some "spanking" mwua hahaha :)

I just went to Yahoo and their store isn't even there anymore. I guess Yahoo pulled their store pretty quick.

Okay, I just can't keep quiet... so here's my 2nd post ever.

Didn't anyone else see anything suspicious other than the price? It was pretty obvious.

They claim to be in the retail business since 1985. Yet, ...they accept MC/Visa only through paypal/bidpay.

Has anyone EVER heard of a legitimate, long term, computer business with good credit that does NOT accept MC/Visa directly?

I aborted my order right there and sent them an email as to the fact that I don't trust them because of this. -Morlore

I called Paypal today and all they said they could do was file a fraud report and told me to dispute the charge on my credit card. Other than that you're SOL.

What I said:
You have been reported to the FBI and the FTC for charging customers and not rendering services.

What he said:
Refund sent as email indicated. Thank you

What I said:
I RECEIVED NO E-MAIL ABOUT A REFUND

Then no more replies. I would suggest all involved in this to call your credit card company, talk to a dispute rep, and tell them you want to do a chargeback for not receiving merchandise. There is some kind of standard procedure that they have. For my MBNA card, I had to fill something out on the back of my statement and the guy on the phone gave me a reference number to write on there. He said they would take care of it once they received it. This is what Damon at PayPal told me to do, so I think this is the best way to handle it. I doubt anyone will be receiving any money from Nodandoon.

OMG!!! I just received a certified letter from Nodandoon.com. Low and behold it had a check for my full refund! Here's what the letter had to say.

Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to thank you for your order. Sorry we could not fulfill the order at this time. Enclosed is your complete refund. Again, thank you and look forward to serving you in the future.

Sincerely,

Dan

Hey Moose, I got it too :) Certified mail with a refund check in it. I only emailed them once about it and wasn't even expecting a response.

See perhaps he is just overwhelmed, and is trying to do the right thing. You people who say "Let's go mess him up, and Nodandoon will burn, whats the address" I'm ashamed to be in the same gene pool. If you ever own a small business and are in a similar situation, I hope the american public stones you into bankruptcy and social ruin.

As if you didn't know anything was up when you ordered...

And as far as saying you are going to beat his @$$, I'm sure 2 compu dorks fighting would end in exhaustion before it did a black eye.

My 2 cents ... or +4.55 after rebate.
