I see thermalright has a true copper heatsink, but i also see hits for thermaltake and true copper.

Ah. I guess you're saying they said "Thermaltake" when they should have said "Thermalright."

Thermaltake has been around for a looong time. They made their name with cooling solutions and enclosures. Now I think they sell power supplies and stuff too.

It's hard to have any interest in building computers and not know of them.

Now, many years ago, an occasional PC gamer I worked with said he thinks it's pronounced "Thermal tock ee." Had me thinking about it ever since...

I think that article has it wrong too. Looks identical to my brother's ThermalRight Ultra120 Extreme except it's copper.

How do we know it's pronounced "Thermal Take?" Aren't they based in a non-English-speaking country?

On the point of Asus... They once put out a YouTube video about the pronunciation. In the video, they repeatedly said it's pronounced "'uh soose' like 'peg uh soose.'"

Made absolutely zero sense because that's not how "pegasus" is pronounced.

Then I read somewhere that they changed the official pronunciation since then.
