7 day shipping really sucks.

I noticed this trend recently though at a lot of other places as well. I have to remember to read the fine print.

ZZF rocks! Best place to order oem hard drives. They get placed in a plastic bubble shell and then placed in a thick foam sleeve.

How does Newegg do theirs?

Usually, plastic shell or bubble wrap then in a box with peanuts. But I've heard stories of just bare drives in a box of peanuts or in the plastic shell/bubble wrap in an empty box with no peanuts.

I agree. They suck at getting stuff shipped out quickly, but I will always order hard drives from them.

You live in CA? Shouldn't take long to receive something from ZZF.

usually it's a static bag wrapped with bubble wrap, in my experience.

That was my experience as well.
I ordered my 250GB Samsung drive 2 years ago from them.

No problems with the drive, and it's been serving as my main since.

Zipzoomfly has always sucked in my opinion. But they used to offer free 2 day shipping long ago which was pretty nice.

😕 Up until about a week ago, for a couple of months they've been offering free 2 day shipping on every order(no matter how big or how small). And currently, offer free 2 day shipping when you buy $250 or more.

I dunno, I'm pretty sure they haven't offered free 2 day shipping for at least a year. Not counting orders over $250
