Start>Run>cmd or command
at the dos prompt> ipconfig

/? for help
/all for whel...all
/release to release dhcp lease
/renew to renew dhcp lease

Or you could go to Start...Run...and type wntipcfg. Or even make a short cut on desktop.

winipcfg is not part of Win2K.

Running ipconfig from start>run is ineffective because the dos prompt window will close immediately after ipconfig finishes running.

It is not winipcfg...it is wntipcfg and funny that it is installed on my Win2K Pro. So if it is not a part of...where did it come from...MS gremlin maybe.
