His hands fumble at one point and it looks like he moved two cards at once. Now how you go from there to unwinding the entire trick...I have no idea.

it's real, it's just good hand and card technique. It's no different that the card tricks you see on TV or at magic shows. You have to devote a lot of time to getting the card handling right.

not video edited....look closely, he is just manipulating the cards. i have a friend who can do a similar trick.

notice how he tries to make it look like the last four cards are kings. but if you look closely, he flashes the king of diamonds and the king of clubs twice. he is holding four cards - 2H, 10S, KC, KD - but just manipulating them.

It's real. And no, I won't explain how it is done. However, he only uses about 3 basic sleights throughout the duration of the effect.

You can purchase packs of cards where they are designed to change to another type when you put pressure on it a certain way.

haha that may be the case, but for this trick, no special cards. this is just merely sleight of hand

I'm not sure, never bought them myself. The ones I saw basically change when someone takes the top card off the deck (they push down on it). each pack is a specific change card.

It's always those damn special decks :D

You'd think every card magician had 25 special decks in their pockets.

Any real illusionist doesn't need trick decks. That's just stupid.

This is straight up sleight of hand. Nothing special about the deck, only in the way he pulls cards and places them back. He has you looking where he wants you to the whole time. You probably didn't even notice that he's moving cards with his left hand while showing you cards with his right, and not only pulling two cards from the set of four at once, but not placing them back in the order he pulled them. The only reason you don't notice it is because you are are being told that he is merely putting a single card back in certain spots.

Mute it, watch the video, and pay attention only to one hand... then watch it again and pay attention to the other. You may not notice anything still, but you'll at least see more opportune times to mess with people.

ok I dont know how they do it,
I went to my local blockbuster late at night and a guy was there renting a movie to (in front of me in the line) and when paying he asked the employees if they wanted to see a trick he took out 4 red cloth balls and asked one of them to hold it in their hands tight. He told them to count to three, and when they did, he opened their hand it wasnt in there. He then looked at me and told me to look in my jacket pocket (inside pocket along my chest) and they were in there! WTF I had no idea how he did that eight it was fvcked up!

If you already know the basic card handling techniques, that particular effect would only take a few hours to "learn." But as any great card magician will tell you, learning the technique is the easy part. It takes a lifetime to master.

I've been doing card magic/manipulation for over 4 years now, and I still have a long ways to go.
