I can't believe this! A real "closeout special".

For less than the price of a pair of gym shorts...genuine 5.11 tactical pants from LaPoliceGear...$8.99.
LaPoliceGear + 5.11 here

These are the digital desert camo, 100% HD plain cotton weave...rough, tough and comfortable with pockets galore and reinforced 6 ways from sunday.

I have two pair of these and I am buying two more. At this price, LaPoliceGear is going to get hammered with orders. Ya gotta love em...LAPG knows how to set prices! No freebies with the pants...just a plain and simple drop-dead price.:D

Real digital camo cannot be that cheap. If anyone has "felt" a real uniform, then you know that the fabric is thick, yet light at the same time. I am almost sure that camo from that website is nothing but a thin piece of colored cotton. Although you can say all clothing is colored cotton, there is a huge difference between quality and knockoffs. That might be the same knock offs you can buy on eBay. I don't want to thread crap but i want to warn people that they aren't getting some sort of "retail priced 50 bucks" worth of camo. Good deal on cheap camo though for the poor paintballer. But remember that your going to feel the paintball as though you were naked.

This may be just my opinion, but I believe camo pants should only be worn by actual soldiers, serious outdoorsmen, avid game hunters, or really hot women (don't matter what they wear/don't wear): the rest of us just can't pull off the camo pants look, and most people I've seen wear them look like serious dorks.

Speaking from personal experience there?

Somehow I doubt that you're familiar with the quality of 5.11 gear...?

Walmart value gear. Somehow I doubt you've had the chance to touch someone higher class. Back in the day when there was a lowest bidder bid for either digital camo or something else, the US army decided on the digital camo. The other company bidding to offer camo to the US army was better imo but didn't get the contract. I forgot the name of that company but they sell a BDU for like 200+ (1oo for pants and 100+ for shirt?). That fabric is not only light but also thick. For some weird reason, it also keeps you cool despite the fabric being so thick. I've also tried on real army BDUs and they are pretty much have the same quality. Perhaps your not familiar with what quality is? What are you comparing them to? Do you plan to actually use these to go hunting? Or just wearing them around school for no tactical reason?

Damn why'd it have to be desert... If it were snow or woodland, i'd sign on in a heart beat, but desert camo is just too bright.....

You're calling 5.11 Walmart value gear? Your level of credibility just went down a notch.

Also, military surplus BDUs are nothing special. I was in the USAF Auxiliary for six years, so I've been around a fair bit of gear.

No since I don't have any military-like clothing aside from a few free t-shirts I got from some army recruiters. Seriously though-most people would say that its just a serious, serious clash in colors. Imagine yourself wearing woodland pants with lets say a blazer or a sports t-shirt; most people just simply cannot pull off the look.
