I just built a new pc. I plugged everything in -- no video. The computer turns on -- I can hear all the fans going, etc. I tried 2 monitors... what's wrong? When i was installing my cpu fan, i was having some trouble, maybe I somehow killed it?

I have a gigabyte 965P-DS3 mobo, geforce 8800gts, enermax 400w psu.

I figure you've tried this. But, have you tried connecting to both DVI inputs on the back? I *think* only one is active at first.

Tried that, doesnt work.

Also: my keyboard lights dont flash. My pc doesnt have an internal speaker, so I cant tell if it POSTs or not

If the cpu died, would the computer turn on?

I really dont even know where to start looking for problems.

Did you hear the BIOS beep? If you don't hear anything, then the BIOS hanged somewhere. Reseat your RAM and clear the CMOS. Also, I think that your power supply is a little small.

I have an Antec p180b, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have an internal speaker. =\ .

Where could I find these status LEDs?

To clear the CMOS, do I just pull the battery out?

sometimes the motherboard will have a few LEDs somewhere on the board that flash different colors depending on if there are any errors. once I had a motherboard that had a LCD display and flashed different numbers for different errors. BTW.. the antec p180b is your case, not your motherboard.

yeah i know that. i have a gigabyte 965p-ds3. my antec p180b doesnt have an internal speaker so i dont know if the computer is POSTing or not. I really have no idea how to tell, because my mobo doesnt have LED lights. Should I clear the CMOS?
