No video bios alarm

Hey there

Ive got an Intel DH55HC motherboard.

I just installed a gtx 570 and a corsair tx650w psu.

Now on startup i am getting a two beep error which im almost positive is related to a no video issue.

I have checked that my videocard is seated properly. My psu is connected via 6+2 pin. Im out of ideas :S

Thank you for your input

Im swapping out a gt 9800 with this card.... I shouldnt have to do anything else, should i?

I was just trying to think of any possible conflicts. Does the machine not boot at all? Do you have the additional power supply plugged into the new card? Did you check the BIOS? Can you post the rest of your specs?

The pc runs and stays idle with the two tone error.

I dono what mobo --- found DH55HC on it (intel)

Quad core i5 730
Gtx 570
8gb ram
Windows 7
Corsair tx650w

Im not toooo computer savy, but ive built them before without issues.

Is it two beeps or one high and one low? Have you checked the BIOS?

Beep beep pause pause (repeat)

Same tone for the beeps...

Im not sure how to check the bios.. Wouldnt i need a display for that??

Lol nonono. My display isnt picking anything up because my motherboard cannot recognize my gpu. It is seated properly. I dont understand. My monitor should still see it tho, correct?

how many video card slots does your mobo have? Sometimes you need to put the card in a specific slot if your mobo has multiple 16x pci-ex slots.
