No video at POST

This has been occuring more frequently lately. I get one long beep and two short beeps and no video. I have to press the power button again to turn off the computer (hitting the reset button does the same thing). Then I have to turn my APC surge protector off and on. After doing this I will get video at POST. I have a Asus a8n-sli and Geforce 7800 gtx. Any ideas what could be causing this?
 
In the BIOS, the seting "Init Display First" is set to PCI Slot. Would setting it to PCI EX make a difference?
