No video after POST?

Hello everyone, I have an Abit KX7-333R mobo, Athlon XP 2400+, GeForce 6800GT, 1.5GB DDR 333 Crucial, and a 350W TTGI PSU. Here's what happens: computer turns on and POSTs fine, gives me another couple screens of inital diagnostics, then when it seems its XP's turn to start loading and give me a loading screen, I lose video. Have tried booting from a XP install disc with same result. Also tried replacing video card with known working one to no avail. Any Ideas? All help is greatly appreciated! Thank you
 
If you lose video after Windows starts to load, then it is a Windows problem. See if it works fine in Safe Mode. If it does, then maybe uninstall and reinstall some drivers (chipset and video). If it doesn't work, it may mean a Windows reinstall.

You can also test using a "live" CD.
